where the buzzing cicadas sing wyld and high
season take me home in another direction
i face the wall of thunder and an open sky
theres a horror show at the border their burying bodies
there's a didn't howling howling every night
smiling face of the west is killing and burning
the old prison planet of earthly delight
theres no moon new moon
im making my way to the border
in the USA my family awaits
and the hounds wander the scrub with fever and foaming
and the blood trail stops cold and this grave
i have dreams of skulls that house the souls of my beloveds
departed we fall in a river of rising blood
as these lines are drawn after big wars
as a proud mark of the makers
feasting pigs on fresh blood
now the flowers of the fields come to life
and the whole world is dying
the flowers of the field come to life and the whole world is crying
as the phantoms follow hot currents high over my head
the belly of the beast is proud, lonely and starving
